Small double rooms

Just 40 meters from the Casa del Borgo (about 120 meters from the Casa Madre) is the third building that makes up the Albergo Diffuso Relais del Maro: the Casa del Fienile. This is undoubtedly the property with the most history: in fact here since the 14th-century hemp was used to make ropes and other products. Today it has been completely renovated and has two bedrooms, n. 21 and n. 22, among the closest to the intimate soul of the Borgo. And intimacy is precisely what distinguishes these two spaces: reachable only by taking a short hill on foot, these rooms have small windows that overlook the internal caruggi (pedestrian alleys), in typical Ligurian style.
Being an ancient barn with vaulted ceilings and small windows, the rooms of the Casa del Fienile are just a little less bright than the others and have no view.

Room 21 in Casa del Fienile

Room 21 has a small window at the top and a slightly larger one with shutters. This space offers 2 beds of 85 by 200 cm (or a queen-size bed), a mini-bar cabinet, satellite TV, air conditioning, a safe and an antique wardrobe originally part of Grandma Evelina’s dowry. All in an area of ​​17 square meters with vaulted ceilings and light brown wooden floor. A corner shower, professional hairdryer and soap dispensers are available in the bathroom. You will always find courtesy set, slippers and bathrobes.

Room 22 in Casa del Fienile

Room 22, as intimate as cosy in its 15 square meters, offers two comfortable 85 by 200 beds (or a queen-size bed) and a small window overlooking the pedestrian square below. Minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning, safe and bathroom with corner shower, professional hairdryer and soap dispensers are available. You will always find courtesy set, slippers and bathrobes. The pleasant environment of the room is completed by the vaulted ceilings and the light grey wooden floor.
