Mendatica is a village in the Arroscia Valley known as “the stone town”. Its population has always been very active in making the territory and local gastronomic delights known. The local cooperative Brigì has been organizing various activities for some years, including trekking in the company of donkeys: it is obviously not possible to ride donkeys, but Pepe and Pinocchio will accompany you on the paths to the ancient huts, through which the cattle of the local shepherds are walked during the transhumance.
