For over 80 years, the Montina gardens have been helping growing the knowledge of people who are passionate about agronomy or even just to those who love spending their free time in contact with nature. There are many courses and activities organized: from specific teachings on pruning, grafts, and orchards to educational days and visits to the Albenga plant nursery. Some courses and demonstrations can also be organized for two people.

Ligurian hills are without doubts rich in climbs and descents and often lead up to paths lost in nature, the same ones that offer breathtaking views and the most complete solitude, in the inland woods or along the coastal roads. Some of this need a special mean of transport like a scooter to be truly appreciated.
Prices starting from € 50.00 per day (deposit required).

It is no coincidence that the Western Ligurian coast is known as Riviera dei Fiori (literally: “Flowers Riviera”): thanks to its mild climate, the whole area has experienced unique blooms throughout the year since the nineteenth century. And this is why at least two of the most spectacular gardens in Italy are located here: the garden of Villa Hanbury in Ventimiglia and the garden of Villa della Pergola in Alassio. The best season to visit them is definitely spring, but at any time of the year it is possible to enjoy the scents and colours of the great variety of plants from all over the world they can boast.
Villa Hanbury: € 9.00; € 7.50 for over 65s and children 6/14 years
Villa della Pergola: € 12.00; € 6.00 for children aged 6 to 14. We recommend booking a guide to help you properly discover these botanical jewels.
